{"id":1758,"date":"2021-01-16T16:56:22","date_gmt":"2021-01-16T14:56:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dermitzaki.gr\/?post_type=serices&#038;p=1758"},"modified":"2022-10-03T14:32:49","modified_gmt":"2022-10-03T11:32:49","slug":"neyrologiki-exetasi","status":"publish","type":"services","link":"https:\/\/dermitzaki.gr\/en\/serices\/neyrologiki-exetasi\/","title":{"rendered":"NEUROLOGICAL EXAMINATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>First a complete history is taken:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>about the present problem and the reason for the visit.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0medical history as far as other diseases are concerned including<br \/>\nprevious hospitalizations and possible surgeries.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0medications taken and possible pharmaceutical or other<br \/>\nallergies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A routine neurological examination includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>skull exam (cranial nerve check)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0mobility test (muscle strength test, check<br \/>\nreflexes)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0examination of sensibility (hypesthesia, palesthesia, rough touch and<br \/>\npain)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0cerebellar tests (control of balance, synergy<br \/>\nmovements)<\/li>\n<li>examination of posture and gait (with open and closed<br \/>\neyes)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0psycho-intellectual examination and memory examination (if needed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Determination of diagnostic tests:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0hematological and biochemical control<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0neurophysiological test (Electromyogram)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0simple x-rays (e.g. of the neck)<\/li>\n<li>CT scan of brain and spine<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0MRI of the brain and spine<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0ultrasound and triplex of cervical vessels, carotids<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0angiography<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"featured_media":620,"parent":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-1758","services","type-services","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dermitzaki.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/services\/1758","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dermitzaki.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/services"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dermitzaki.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/services"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dermitzaki.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/620"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dermitzaki.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1758"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
